About the Opportunity:

The primary responsibility of the Senior SEC Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for completing financial statements, schedules and disclosures for SEC and management reporting purposes (including earnings release, 10-Q, 10-K and Call Report schedules), assist in the planning, coordination and execution of Internal Audit projects and compliance efforts within the Company and assist in the stock compensation analysis and reconciliation.


  • Participate in the rollforward, coordination and preparation of quarterly reports (10-Q), annual reports (10-K), current reports (8-K) and proxy statement (DEF 14A), including required XBRL reporting.
  • Prepare schedules and disclosures in accordance with SEC or internal reporting requirements and organize/maintain applicable supporting documentation for every filing. 
  • Keep abreast and analyze impact of financial reporting developments and new accounting pronouncements/requirements
  • Assist in the calculation and reconciliation of share-based compensation expense and related schedules
  • Assist in the reporting and reconciliation of equity based transactions
  • Assess the design of internal controls related to our financial reporting processes, and test the controls for operating effectiveness, pursuant to our annual Sarbanes-Oxley 404 certification
  • Work with various departments to update narratives and identify process improvement opportunities 
  • Assist with special accounting/reporting projects as assigned
  • Assist with external auditors


  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1+ years minimum of public accounting experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP financial statements and financial reporting
  • CPA is a plus 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Superior time management / organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Understanding of internal controls (SOX requirements)

This full-time, exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.
