Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Intake Coordinator in Tucson to join our Agape Hospice team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES:

  • Prior intake/admissions experience, preferably in hospice or home health.
  • Proficiency in computer applications to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in person and over the phone.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ALSO INCLUDE:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information under HIPAA guidelines.
  • Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record such as HomeCare HomeBase preferred
  • Maintaining high standards of integrity and business ethics.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Responding well to changing priorities and conditions
  • Assisting field staff with information, scheduling, and workflow
  • Working with the office team to provide other types of office support as needs dictate
