Job Description

As the Clinical Resource/Regional Nurse Consultant, you will:

  • Provide relevant information so that the administrators and DONs can make educated choices from a variety of alternatives.
  • Assist leadership to achieve and maintain Ensign clinical standards.
  • Assisting with developing and conducting of in-service education programs.
  • Assisting with quality improvement and QIT process.
  • Evaluating effectiveness of the educational and quality improvement process and its outcomes.
  • Validate trending of the QI on a monthly basis.
  • Report to the Director of Nursing Services and/or Executive Director services performed and documenting such services.
  • Coordinate improvement functions with the Quality Assessment & Assurance (QA&A) Committee designee.
  • Be part of the transition team of new buildings and implement the 100-day clinical plan.
  • Formal or informal monthly progress reports to Clinical OPS Team Leader.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

Education/Experience:  

  • Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of Idaho
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Long Term Care or related field.
  • Experience in facility operations as well as at the corporate level.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with others and assume a leadership role.
  • Experience in quality improvement.
  • Knowledge about current regulations/legislation from Federal to State level.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Must be a stellar motivator and team-builder
